The Gift of Worship

Does the Lord ever grab your attention while you're in church singing worship songs? He did that to me yesterday. There I was, singing "Oh, Praise Him," and God tapped me on the shoulder (not literally, but you know what I mean). He reminded me that the joy I get to experience as I praise and worship Him, lots of other people don't experience because they don't know Him. I thought of friends, people I see in stores and restaurants, and I thought of the Beng (A people group in West Africa). I was moved to tears.

Let's not forget this month, as we worship the Lord and are again filled with excitement at the thought of His coming to earth, that other people haven't heard about Him. Or maybe they have, but they just don't know Him personally. As we think of them, let's pray for them.
